Why Guinea Pigs!

I have decided to put together this website to help new owners understand better what is needed on keeping your lovely fluffy pets happy & healthy. I have been breeding guinea pigs since 2013 and I'm always amazed every time by the new arrivals I am blessed with. On this site I will introduce to you all of my amazing guinea pigs along with some helpful advice on commonly asked questions about looking after and keeping your guinea pigs. This site is not sponsored or paid for by anyone else but me! I created this site to help people who want to start keeping and enjoying these amazing creatures. So before you send emails about that's not right and this is not correct, please try and help me, help others and together improve this site if you think something is not correct. I do not confess in knowing everything there is about guinea pigs (I wish i did) and I'm learning more everyday. I hope you enjoy the website and if it helps you in any way........... then I have achieved my goal!

So How Did it All Start?

Meet Gizmo and Theodore

So how did this all start? It was my sons 11th Birthday and he had the choice of either having a tortoise or two guinea pigs, knowing that a tortoise has a life span of around 100 years we managed to persuade my son (thankfully) that guinea pigs was the way forward. So we went and bought our first two piggies Gizmo & Theodore named by my son who loved Gremlins at the time. I was so fascinated by their amazing characters and loving natures I decided that I would buy two sows Chili and Pepper and then I started this amazing journey into keeping and breeding these lovely animals.
