Welcome to the World of Guinea Pigs

My Lovely Sheltie Sows

midnight

All Black, Sheltie Sow,

One of my favorite solid colours, this all black smokey coat when fully grown is amazing

Sapphire

Lilac, Sheltie Sow

One of the few guinea pigs i keep with ruby eyes, because I love the lilac coat you always get ruby red eyes, i think it's so worth the compromise.

Phoenix

Red Cali, Sheltie Sow

I so love this coloration, the rich dark auburn coat and the dark ears and nose markings from the Californian breed.

queenie

All White Dark Eyes Cali, Sheltie Sow

Queenie is a stunning addition to my herd of shelties, another guinea pig I brought into my group to bring new blood into the breeding set up and such a stunner who is now housed with Hugo the Boss ( see Coronet boars), so I am hoping to see more shelties or Coronets with those lovely Cali markings.

Athena

Ginger & White Sheltie Sow

Athena and Boudica was bought at the same time to bring a nice colour variation to my sheltie herd and have since had some stunning babies between them.

boudica

Ginger & White Sheltie Sow

Boudica and Athena are inseparable and had their litters on the same day and looked after each others pups, their both great mums and both at present housed with Lancelot ( see below).

cleopatra

All Black (although looks Chocolate Brown in the picture) Sheltie Sow

Cleopatra is my stunning all black sheltie, from the day she was born I was going to keep her, she was so pretty and has improved over time to this amazing solid all black guinea pig that bosses the other sows about and even lets Lancelot know when she doesn't want his attention anymore in no uncertain terms.

Thora

Honeycomb Sheltie Sow

Named by my friend Tara, you have the stunning  Thora which originated from  Scandinavia and  means "Thunder". Thora is very similar to Sandy at the top of the page but just love the honeycomb coat, its a bit chewed at the moment but when it grows back to its full beauty she will once again be stunning. Maybe a little bit of static going on as well ..

TBC

Red Sheltie Sow

On my last visit to see Amanda she showed me this stunning red sheltie and it was a colour I didn't have in my herd at all, so here she is still small and the coat still has some growing but I can see she will be awesome later on ...so watch this space ..I also loved the colour so much I bought a coronet Cali at the same time.

Meet my Handsome Sheltie Boar

lancelot

Black & White Sheltie Boar

As soon as I saw Lancelot he got his name, he was amazing and marched around the hutch from day 1 like he owned it, his flowing main soon had Athena & Boudica under his spell. He was their knight in shining armor with striking colours and a popcorn spring in his step.

HAnk

Smokey Black Sheltie Boar

I was in two minds whether to keep or sell Hank but when his coat started to change into a smoky black i just had to add him to my herd and such a lovely addition as you will agree. I just love the sheltie nature and calmness about them, huggle monsters for sure.

Leo the lion

Silver Fox, Sheltie Boar

A lovely sheltie boar I bought from Amanda, loved the way he looked like an old piggy wearing glasses even at such an early age, as you can see his coat has started to grow back and will soon have that stunning smokey black coat.

porky the porcupine

Cinnamon, Sheltie Boar

I so loved the look on his face, the fleck in his hair looked like the quills on a porcupine hence the name I decided on him. Leo and him had a falling out when housed together with Leo coming away with a torn ear. After this initial dominance display it all calmed down and they were very happy together until I split them up to to go with some lovely sheltie sows.

I try my best to keep this site up-to-date with new arrivals, I have litters most months that will be available to be reserved to new forever homes. If you wish to go on a waiting list for something that might not be available now please contact me.
